Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and modify component designs using 3D CAD and engineering drawings
  • Perform engineering calculations involving loads, stresses, fatigue, tolerances, spring forces, oil pressure, and material properties
  • Troubleshoot production problems involving dimensions, surface finish, hardness, grinding, leakage, lifter rotation, and assembly
  • Develop and execute engineering validation and durability testing
  • Maintain awareness of OEM specifications, aftermarket requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical components, materials, machining, tolerancing, and manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, or AutoCAD
  • Experience using precision measurement equipment, such as micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, CMMs, and optical measurement systems

Controls Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial automation and control systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical and controls problems on CNC machines, grinding equipment, assembly machines, presses, heat-treat equipment, and automated production lines
  • Design and troubleshoot motor controls, VFDs, servo systems, sensors, actuators, solenoids, relays, and safety circuits
  • Develop automated inspection systems to verify lifter characteristics such as dimensions, orientation, presence/absence, surface defects, and assembly conditions
  • Work with Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineers to improve machine cycle times, uptime, reliability, and throughput

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and control-panel drawings
  • Experience with VFDs, servos, motors, sensors, encoders, solenoids, relays, and pneumatic systems
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand how mechanical and electrical systems interact

Cold Header Designer

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cold-heading processes for automotive lifters and other precision cold-formed components
  • Develop complete multi-station cold-header processes from raw wire/rod through the finished or semi-finished component
  • Analyze customer part drawings and determine the most efficient cold-forming process and number of heading stations required
  • Develop process sequences, forming reductions, upsetting operations, extrusions, piercings, trimming, and other forming operations
  • Create and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings for dies, punches, inserts, and other tooling

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and significant cold-forming experience
  • Strong understanding of cold-forming principles and metal flow
  • Experience designing or developing cold-heading tooling and processes
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems on the production floor

Assembly Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Operate automated assembly machines and related equipment
  • Monitor machine performance and product quality
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area
  • Meet production and quality standards

Qualifications:

  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Manufacturing experience preferred

Cold Header Lifter Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate cold heading machines used to manufacture automotive lifter components
  • Monitor the heading process for tool wear, material issues, machine malfunctions, and dimensional variation
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues
  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators, and other precision measuring equipment
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, including lubrication, cleaning, adjustment, and minor repairs

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience operating cold heading, cold forming, forging, or similar metal-forming equipment preferred
  • Ability to use basic precision measuring equipment
  • Ability to perform repetitive work while maintaining attention to detail

OD Grinding Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate OD grinding equipment
  • Run through-feed and in-feed grinding operations
  • Perform quality checks and measurements
  • Maintain production records
  • Ensure equipment is operating efficiently

Qualifications:

  • Experience with through-feed and in-feed OD grinding
  • Ability to read measuring instruments and blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills

ID Grinding Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate internal grinding machines
  • Monitor machine performance and product quality
  • Troubleshoot machine issues
  • Perform routine inspections and measurements
  • Maintain production documentation

Qualifications:

  • Internal grinding experience required
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Manufacturing experience preferred

Tool Room Machinist

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate a variety of tool room equipment
  • Support production machinery and manufacturing operations
  • Manufacture and repair fixtures, tooling, and machine components
  • Perform precision machining operations

Qualifications:

  • Manual lathe experience required
  • Manual milling machine experience required
  • Surface grinding experience preferred
  • Fixture design knowledge required
  • Strong machining and blueprint reading skills

Industrial Electrician

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair production equipment
  • Maintain machine controls and electrical systems
  • Install and replace sensors, motors, and control components
  • Support preventive maintenance activities
  • Minimize production downtime

Qualifications:

  • Experience with 3-phase electrical systems
  • Machine controls troubleshooting experience
  • Sensor installation and replacement experience
  • Allen-Bradley PLC programming experience
  • RSLogix 5 and RSLogix 500 proficiency required

Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming materials and components
  • Verify products meet engineering drawings and specifications
  • Perform part layouts and dimensional inspections
  • Conduct functional testing of finished assemblies
  • Record and maintain inspection data in compliance with ISO requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience using precision measuring instruments
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Quality inspection experience preferred

Final Visual Inspector / Packer

Responsibilities:

  • Perform final visual inspection of finished products
  • Verify products meet company quality standards
  • Package products according to specifications
  • Prepare shipments for distribution
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow written procedures
  • Manufacturing or packaging experience preferred
  • Dependable attendance and work ethic

Forklift Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Move raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Support receiving and shipping operations
  • Maintain inventory accuracy
  • Follow all safety procedures

Qualifications:

  • Forklift operating experience required
  • Shipping and receiving experience preferred
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials
  • Strong organizational skills

General Laborer

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload production equipment
  • Assist machine operators and production personnel
  • Perform hand assembly operations
  • Support packaging and material handling activities
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas

Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift and move materials safely
